Supervisor and competent person training for deleading (SSPC-C3) has been completed by all persons involved in this highly specialized field.
Genesis owns specialized blasting equipment that most other industrial painting companies rent. This makes it unlikely that a project would be stalled because the necessary equipment is unavailable. We can provide lead abatement services and also apply protective coatings at your location or at our in-house painting facility.
In addition to on-site lead paint removal services, Genesis has its own in-house blast shop. Centrally located in the Kansas City area, the facility has a 10 ton overhead crane and a fully enclosed blast room complete with a steel grit reclaimer, full ventilation and containment. Equipped with HEPA filters, our blast booth meets and exceeds worker safety standards.
In addition to lead abatement services, the Genesis Industrial Painting division provides complete coatings services. Our specialists have decades of field and technical coating experience and, in consult with industry vendors, can recommend a solution to your coating related problem.
Genesis specialists have all certifications required by regulatory bodies at the Local, State, and Federal levels. In addition to supervisor and competent person training for deleading (SSPC-C3), field personnel are, at a minimum, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry trained.
We also have specialized certifications required by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), American Petroleum Institute (API), Steel Tank Institute (STI), and The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC).
