GES was awarded a $770,000 project by Bayer Crop Science for the painting, repairs and re-lining of three storage tanks and one clarifier.
Genesis Environmental Solutions, Inc. (GES) was awarded a $770,000 project by Bayer Crop Science for the painting, repairs and re-lining of three storage tanks and one clarifier.
The storage tank interiors required abrasive blasting to a SSPC SP-5 standard prior to any metal repairs. GES provided tank inspection, including MFL underside scanning. After all metals repairs were performed, GES re-blasted the repairs and applied a 3-coat vinyl ester lining.
The 80’ clarifier was also required to be blasted prior to metal inspection and repairs followed by re-blasting and application of a 2-coat flake filled epoxy system.
GES self-performed all blasting/linings and utilized our tank integrity department for the MFL under side corrosion scanning.
