Genesis Gains $2.1M Basin Coating Job

Genesis Environmental Solutions, of Blue Springs, MO, has been awarded a $2,121,586 contract to clean and coat steel mechanisms in four clarifier basins, two ground storage tanks, and other metal structures for the Johnson County (KS) Water District #1 (WaterOne).

The facility owner also awarded a separate $86,400 contract to The Larkin Group, of Kansas City, MO, to perform coatings inspection services for the project.The project includes abrasive blast-cleaning and recoating submerged surfaces, as well as overcoating exposed surfaces associated with treatment basins, the exterior of existing dry chemical storage tanks and associated conveyor piping, wash water tanks, and mechanical equipment. Genesis MW Joint Venture awarded $30 Million Job Order Contract by US Army Corp of Engineers at Ft. Leavenworth

This requirement is a $30,000,000 contract with the base and four option period of $6,000,000 for each year.

This contract is to provide but not limited to the following: repair or replacement of
mechanical, electrical or fire protection and detection systems; concrete; asphalt; repairs related to building renovation or demolition; interior remodeling work including carpentry, painting, floor and wall covering; renovation of historic structures; repair or replacement of infrastructure systems; correction of drainage problems; repair or upgrade of structural problems, including seismic upgrades; repair or replacement of roofing, siding, windows, doors or other miscellaneous architectural elements. Genesis awarded lead remediation project

Genesis was awarded $400,000 contract to provide remediation of lead contaminated soil at multiple single family home sites in downtown Kansas City. This project is partially funded by a grant from the Missouri Housing and Development Commission
and in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.



MODOT bridge project subcontracted to Genesis

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) awarded the contract to KTU Constructors and their subcontractor IPC. IPC chooses Genesis to provide high performance coatings on over 500 Bridges. Valued at nearly $1,000,000, Genesis is contracted to apply Epoxy coatings to various bridge beams on each bridge produced at IPC’s Precast manufacturing facilities.
